As a people-focused and data-driven productivity accelerator, Ictivity helps mid-sized organisations work more easily, safely and productively. With over 170 colleagues, the company delivers services around managed services, modern digital workplaces, process automation, security and IT adoption. All from a clear conviction they themselves call Human Based Computing: IT only becomes valuable when it supports people in their work, without them having to think about it. That is what IT can also be.
That conviction touches exactly on what we stand for: software that fits how you work. This is why Ictivity and Elevate 365 have worked together on the Microsoft Power Platform since September 2023. Ictivity has that knowledge in house and often knows its clients' processes inside out. Elevate 365 provides the extra capacity at the moments when it is needed.
The challenge
Questions about the Power Platform rarely arrive in a predictable rhythm. One moment it is a management issue: a flow that stalls, an environment that needs cleaning up, licences and permissions that need attention. Shortly after, there might be a request to digitise a complete process, from data model to working app.
Ictivity has the Power Platform knowledge to take on these questions. Because demand can fluctuate so strongly, flexibility is important. When several projects run at the same time, their own specialists are often already active with other clients while a new development project is already lined up. Hiring extra specialists for temporary peaks is not desirable, while clients do count on short lead times, one fixed point of contact and a team that knows their organisation.
The approach
To maintain that flexibility, Elevate 365 works as an extension of Ictivity's Power Platform team. When demand rises, our specialists step in. As soon as the workload drops, we scale back again.
The division of roles is clear. Ictivity remains the client's trusted IT partner, knows the customer's process and safeguards the coherence with the rest of the landscape. We add capacity and develop alongside them, together with Ictivity's specialists.
The work that comes out of this is broad. From process digitisation and workflow automation to governance, architecture and setting up the Power Platform. For one client we developed a task management solution, so that work no longer lives in mailboxes and scattered lists but is assigned and tracked in one place. For another client we automated the generation of documents based on a fixed template. Employees enter the data, after which the document is automatically created in the correct format. And at a different level, we contributed to the architecture: how do you set up the Power Platform itself, and which environment strategy fits the organisation, so that solutions stay manageable as more are added.
That the collaboration runs so smoothly also has a simple reason: we know the organisation. We know how Ictivity works, how the teams are set up and what their contacts are used to. We can quickly join existing projects and teams, without a lengthy onboarding period. For clients the collaboration therefore feels familiar, and projects can continue without delay.
"Technology should make work easier, not collaboration more complicated. That is why we only work with partners who genuinely become part of our team. Elevate 365 does that. Our customers do not see two organisations at the table, but one team that delivers the best result together."
- Toine van Eijk, Ictivity
The result
What Ictivity's clients notice most about this arrangement is what they do not notice: no waiting time until someone is available, and no extra supplier at the table. Ictivity can move with demand: scaling up when there is a development project, scaling back when the work is limited to management, without its own specialists being overstretched or having to hire permanent staff for peaks.
The collaboration has now been running for almost three years, and the pattern is always the same: demand determines the effort, not the other way around. For the employees at the client, the result is the least visible and at the same time the most important: a solution that fits how they work, built by people who know their process and their environment.
